Students from Duisburg/Essen Prepare Study Tour of the United States

On July 19, the Amerika Haus Cologne hosted a pre-departure seminar for 25 geography students from Duisburg/Essen University in preparation of their two-week study excursion to the U.S. in August. The young scholars reviewed U.S. perspectives on globalization and presented papers on various aspects of regional economic growth and urban planning in the United States. Geography professor Rudolf Juchelka noted that the access to AH resources had provided useful orientation and context for the group’s upcoming study tour of the U.S
