Briefing U.S. College Seniors on the Transatlantic Economy
November 8, 2007.
On November 8, Consul General Matt Boyse discussed prospects for bilateral trade and economic relations with a group of college graduates and seniors from the Universities of Oregon and Washington. The students are participants in the International Business Program designed to give them in-depth exposure to transatlantic economic and political issues. Responding to questions from the students, the Consul General discussed the enormous scope of the transatlantic economy and also the value of acquiring international knowledge and intercultural skills for a future career in the global economy.
