On November 30, Ambassador and Mrs. Timken, Consul General and Mrs. Boyse attended the annual Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the Steuben-Schurz Society and the Industrie-Club of Duesseldorf. In his dinner speech, the Ambassador lauded the enormous importance of German-American economic cooperation, which provides vital employment opportunities on both sides, thereby significantly contributing to the prosperity of both countries. He thanked the business community for their generous support of the “Windows on America” exchange program for young people with a migrant background, and encouraged them to expand their efforts in developing corporate citizenship responsibilities.
