October 27, 2006 In an October 27 meeting with American participants in the 2006-2007 Congress-Bundestag Exchange Program/CBYX (Parlamentarisches Patenschafts Program/PPP) attending institutions of higher learning in Northrhine Westfalia, Consul General Matt Boyse exchanged perspectives on higher education in Germany and the United States. The PPP, under the auspices of the InWent exchange organization, brings U.S. students to Germany to study language during the fall semester and to gain work experience in the spring. Students from Germany participate in a similarly organized program in the United States.
