November 15, 2004. At his visit to Bonn’s “Haus der Geschichte” on November 15, State of Maine Governor John Baldacci presented a documentary video about a 1944-46 prisoner of war camp in Maine. The film entitled “Don’t Fence Me In” documents the experiences of German prisoners working on Maine farms during their captivity and their past and present relations with Maine families.
