In a ceremony at the Ricarda Huch High School in Krefeld on August 17, Consul General Matthew Boyse and Mayor Gregor Kathstede welcomed a group of American exchange students and teachers from Haslett High School, Michigan. The ceremony launched this new partnership; the German students will visit Michigan in September. A native of Michigan, Boyse emphasized the significance of school exchanges and thanked the Mayor for lending his support to the transatlantic school partnership.
