The Information Resource Center (IRC) provides access to comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date information on U.S society, foreign/security policy, economic affairs, political processes, and culture.
IRC Resources IRC resources are intended to meet the needs of government officials, journalists, researchers and others with professional level interest in the United States and related subjects. Electronic and print resources range from general reference materials to specialized collections of government documents and related material on international relations, the U.S. economy and contemporary American politics and society.

About the USA The IRC provides background information and links on topics of particular interest for students and teachers via About the USA, a digital resource collection of information and documents on U.S. political, economic, social, and cultural processes. Teachers may request a copy of About the USA on CD-ROM for classroom use.
Education USA The Information Resource Centers provide web-based reference and referral services for information on study and exchange opportunities in the United States.
Info Alert InfoAlert highlights amd abstracts recent articles and reports from leading U.S. journals and policy sources and provides informed commentary on international and domestic issues.
Current Policy Issues News and background information on U.S. foreign, economic and domestic policy and global issues.
Web Chats Web chat sessions with American authors, government officials and other American experts on a wide variety of topics.

America @ Your Library America@your library® is a partnership initiative between the U.S. Embassy in Berlin and public libraries in Germany. The Information Resource Centers in the Embassy and Consulates work with libraries to select books and other information material on the United States appropriate to local information needs. In addition, the Information Resource Centers work with participating libraries to develop workshops, readings and other cultural and outreach programs as well as web-based projects.
