March 28-31, 2004. Indianapolis mayor Bart Peterson visited the sister city Cologne March 28-31 with a delegation of business development managers. In meetings with Cologne/Bonn airport officials, Koelnmesse managers, and representatives of BioCologne biotech companies the delegation explored improved economic cooperation and joint ventures. At a city hall reception, Cologne mayor Fritz Schramma and CG George Knowles highlighted the significance of German-American exchanges of people, ideas, and business ventures.
