Congratulations Germany!

November 7, 2007.
The German national ice hockey team skated to victory over a visiting American team in Cologne on November 7. The U.S. team, consisting of Americans playing for various teams in Europe this season, played well but were unable to recover after the hosts took an early 2-0 lead. The Koelnarena was packed with German fans, flags and enthusiasm, but a small number of American fans also made their presence known. The German team played better and deserved to win. Final score: 4-2.
