Political Scientist Paul Harris speaks at Muenster University


December 18 & 19, 2006.
A total of 300 students turned out at the universites of Siegen and Muenster on December 18 and 19 to hear U.S. political scientist Paul A. Harris speak about religion and politcs after 9/11. Harris, a political scientist at Augusta State University in Georgia, combined scholarly research with personal familiarity with life in the Bible Belt to explain the foundations of religious freedom and practice in the U.S., the development of civil religion, and the importance of (Christian) religion in American politics, both domestic and foreign.
