The AMCHAM is headquartered in Frankfurt, with a chapter in Düsseldorf and a representative in the Cologne area. AMCHAM is a private organization, representing over 2,500 German and American businesses.

The Boy Scouts of America currently has programs at Bonn International School, Düsseldorf International School, and at Geilenkirchen Air Base.
