Eleanore Boyse Meets With American Military Wives in GeilenkirchenEleanore Boyse Meets With American Military Wives in Geilenkirchen

December 18, 2006.
During a December 18 visit, Eleanore Boyse, wife of Consul General Matt Boyse, exchanged views with wives representing the large contingent American military and civilian staff serving at the NATO base at Geilenkirchen. They discussed a range of issues faced by the families of expatriate Americans, particularly in the military, in Germany, and proposed ways to better integrate military wives more into the activities of the other American and other womens’ groups in NRW. The visit also laid the groundwork for a visit by the Consulate General’s Consular Chief Bruce Kraft to the base in January 2007 to assist with the provision of Citizen Services to the large American community at the base.
