On April 15, a group of U.S. exchange students from Northwestern universities visited the Amerika Haus to discuss German-American relations. The students are participants in a 3-month exchange program that is administered by the University of Oregon and the Carl-Duisberg-Center. Amerika Haus director Carolyn Johnson discussed the prospects for bilateral relations over the next few years and spoke about the value of acquiring international knowledge and intercultural skills to deal with cross-cultural conflicts and realignments of national interests.
