August 10, 2005.
On August 10, 24 U.S. participants in this year’s Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) program visited the Amerika Haus to learn about German-American relations. Created in 1983, this program is designed to strengthen the bilateral friendship and understanding. For the students the exchange offers an opportunity to learn about their host country, broaden their horizons and build manifold skills. U.S. Consul General George Knowles welcomed the group and explained the role of the U.S. Consulate in promoting bilateral relations.
