Bochum Students Learn About U.S. Study Opportunities

On June 20th, Petra Spitz from the Amerika Haus Köln /Education USA Germany visited the University of Applied Sciences in Bochum to talk about exchange opportunities with the United States. The event was organized by the Internional office. During a lecture at the university, about 30 students received information on studying and interning in the U.S., including information on the higher education system, the application process and visa issues. The presentation was followed by a question and answer session and a booth at the fair "Go Abroad 2007". Students picked up information material on the U.S., including the CD ROM "About the USA" and "How to Study in the U.S."
