At a November 27 conference in Duisburg organized by the American Chamber of Commerce, the NRW Ministry of Economics, the Council of American States and several private sector partners on "New and Renewable Energy," Consul General Matt Boyse highlighted the potential of the U.S. market for German investors. He stressed the interest in the United States in cooperation with firms active in these areas, ending with a quote by German environmentalist Ernst Ulrich von Weizsaecker predicting that the U.S. could be the next "green superpower."
