Welcoming New U.S. Teaching Assistants in Altenberg

September 4, 2007.
At an orientation seminar in Altenberg on September 4, Consul General Matthew Boyse welcomed 140 newly-arrived Fulbright teaching assistants who will be teaching at secondary schools all over Germany. Boyse outlined the role of Mission Germany in fostering the German-American dialogue and invited the young Fulbrighters to play an active role as junior ambassadors in the "MeetUS" school outreach program. The participants also received American studies resource materials for their classes.
