Consul General Attends Thanksgiving Dinner in Aachen


November 16, 2006.
Consul General Matt Boyse (pictured with German Chair of the Aachen-Arlington Sister City organization Dr. Traudl Kösters) attended the annual Thanksgiving Dinner on November 16 in Aachen. In addition to noting the traditional role of this holiday in the United States, he lauded the vibrant exchange programs the group has established in recent years. These feature several trips and homestays per year for students and their parents from each city, and also include interaction between other professional groups, such as city planners and government officials.
